We must learn to understand how far we can go. We have our limits. To stop on time we have to learn the virtue of prudence. Our will is put to test often. Our weak will needs the support of solidarity and the help and encouragement of others. At other times, our will is bolstered by faith and we find strength in prayer.

We have to let go of anxiety and worries. Abandoning ourselves means resting in something greater than ourselves; it means to stop being the center of our lives, rising above the natural self-centeredness that does not let us grow. It is recognizing that we are not in charge of life.

Getting started requires a fundamental attitude of letting go of things. We have to let go of anxiety and worries. Abandoning ourselves means relying on something greater than ourselves; it means to stop being the center of our lives, rising above the natural self-centeredness that does not let us grow. It is recognizing that we are not in charge of life. Abandoning ourselves in not negligence; it is collaboration, assuming responsibility. It is important to rise above that restlessness to control everything and let ourselves be guided by the Spirit. This confidence and this abandoning ourselves to Providence comes out in many ways that help us discover that we are really on our way.
