We have to let go of anxiety and worries. Abandoning ourselves means
resting in something greater than ourselves; it means to stop being the
center of our lives, rising above the natural self-centeredness that
does not let us grow. It is recognizing that we are not in charge of
life.
Getting started requires a fundamental attitude of letting go of
things. We have to let go of anxiety and worries. Abandoning ourselves
means relying on something greater than ourselves; it means to stop
being the center of our lives, rising above the natural
self-centeredness that does not let us grow. It is recognizing that we
are not in charge of life. Abandoning ourselves in not negligence; it
is collaboration, assuming responsibility. It is important to rise
above that restlessness to control everything and let ourselves be
guided by the Spirit. This confidence and this abandoning ourselves to
Providence comes out in many ways that help us discover that we are
really on our way. |
