We have accepted as our goal an ideal wellbeing, and we cannot let events ruin it for us. But this way of thinking is a useless strain since the more we plan, the less free time we have. We have the feeling of being dragged down by life instead of being in control. We abandon ourselves to fatalism or we get lost in the crowd.  But the main reason is that life is stronger than us and we cannot control it.
